\"\"<\/a>“When somebody love you, it’s no good unless she loves you….. all the way…..”<\/em><\/p>\n

It is late at\u00a0night as I sit here at\u00a0the desk while you\u00a0sleep.\u00a0 I am surrounded by photos of us.\u00a0 Happy photos that I look at now, knowing that in every one\u00a0you had cancer and it was getting worse all the time.<\/p>\n

I watch\u00a0you carefully now.\u00a0 I wince at the almost constant pain that\u00a0you have been\u00a0in from the hemorrhoids that are slowly going away.\u00a0 I chauffeur\u00a0you around and let\u00a0you use me as a human crutch when\u00a0you walk as\u00a0your energy is so depleted from first the cancer and\u00a0then the anemia from bleeding hemorrhoids and finally from the chronic diarrhea that has lasted for over 4 months.\u00a0 And I occasionally see\u00a0you giving up.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It is easy to understand why people finally want to slip away.\u00a0 They are just tired of fighting the fight.\u00a0 They get worn down and just give up.\u00a0 I won’t let\u00a0you give up.\u00a0 Do you hear me Lennie Schneider?\u00a0 You didn’t\u00a0come into my life\u00a0and make me fall in love with you, only to leave me.\u00a0 What would I have left, other than my memories of a Fairy Tale romance that doesn’t come around too often.\u00a0 You have been the best time of my life and I’m not ready to see it come to an end yet.\u00a0 How I have grown in the past 2 1\/2 years.\u00a0 You said that the perfect first date would be a conversation that never ended; and that is exactly what we have.\u00a0 Sometimes that conversation may be a little one-sided or may get a little too loud, but we never run out of things to talk about.\u00a0 I don’t always see your point of view and I know that you don’t always see mine, especially when I am making you drink the concoctions that I believe will help heal you, no matter how yucky they taste.\u00a0 Or when you choose some food item in a store and I make you take it back like a naughty child.\u00a0 And you are at times child-like to me.\u00a0 I love the way you find fun in ordinary things.\u00a0 And I want to protect you the way I would protect my child.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I know that the past month has been hard on you.\u00a0 You have hardly even been outside.\u00a0 I keep telling you that we will look back on this past year or so as just an awful time in our life.\u00a0 And we will look back on it.\u00a0 I feel really good about Master Lee, the Chinese practitioner\/Shaolin Monk\u00a0that we found through a friend.\u00a0 There is a new life-energy that I see in you the past couple of days, and although it is minimal, you said that you are feeling a little better.<\/p>\n

None of us ever knows what life has in store for us.\u00a0 We just go along, doing our best and hope that fate will be kind to us, especially with our health.\u00a0 I do not think of this as your cancer, but as something that we share; an ordeal that we are facing together.\u00a0 This has truly been a test of our love.\u00a0 So, don’t be scared Sweetheart.\u00a0 I am right beside you….. all the way.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
